CLEARWATER, Florida – J.A. Happ got the start in the Blue Jays rain-shortened, Grapefruit League opener against the Phillies but it was Todd Redmond who left an early impression on his manager. "Redmonds like anybody else, hes going to get hit every now and then but all weve ever seen out of him is good pitching and he gets guys out," said John Gibbons. "Hes pretty polished." The 29-year-old pitched two clean innings, the second and third, striking out a batter over 22 pitches. He got the win, for what thats worth on February 26, in a 4-3 game called midway through the seventh. Redmond is among more than a half-dozen pitchers in contention for the last starting rotation spot. While not much can be made of one outing, Redmonds performance resonated following a comment Gibbons made before the game. "Usually what happens, when theres a spot open, the guy that takes it, some of those guys have those springs where theyre good all spring and theres no doubt about it ... a lot of times that guy from day one, man, hes standing out and theres no hiccups." All Redmonds ever wanted is an opportunity. Here it is, less than three months before hell turn 29. Think hes overwhelmed? Redmonds been around too long – eight minor league cities over nine seasons – to get rattled by the best chance hes had to crack an opening day roster. "Im an easy-going guy," said Redmond. "Just give me the ball, Ill go out there and pitch. Same thing as I do every day. I pitch." Redmond made 17 appearances for the Blue Jays last season, 14 of them starts. Hed only made one previous appearance in the majors, a start for the Reds in 2012 that didnt go well. Familiarity breeds a sense of comfort. "I have a little more confidence coming into camp. Of my stuff, not of me, just of my stuff. More trusting of my ability," he said. As a starter last season, Redmond slowly earned Gibbons trust, which allowed Redmond to pitch deeper into games. If hes going to succeed at the major league level, however, Redmond will have to vastly improve his numbers facing hitters for a second and third time through the order. Batters have a .627 on-base plus slugging percentage against Redmond the first time through. Redmonds OPS against spikes to .939 when the lineup turns over and .914 the third time around. He insists durability isnt an issue. "My entire career, if you look at my minor league side of it, I dont think Ive ever thrown under 160 innings a year," said Redmond. "The workload. Thats one thing I take pride in is being able to go out there every fifth day and take the ball." Redmonds almost right. In the seven seasons between 2007 and 2012, he logged at least 160 innings five times and never through less than 145 innings. Having worked a modified heavy ball program this offseason, he would typically stretch with the one-pound or two-pound weighted ball prior to throwing, Redmond says his should feels strong as he makes the push for a job in the rotation. "Hes been a good pitcher in the minor leagues," said Gibbons. "Every year hes pretty steady and he never really had that opportunity until he came here last year. If this is his year he makes it and he goes on to have a good year, hell be a big league player and I dont think there will be any looking back." DRABEK UNHAPPY WITH PERFORMANCE Kyle Drabek was visibly upset with his first spring performance, a line that looked like this: 1.2IP/1ER/1H/3BB/1K. In his only full inning of work, Drabek threw 11 pitches but only four for strikes. A candidate for that final rotation spot, he was most bothered by the lack of command. "Ive had it so good in all the bullpens," said Drabek. "Its just frustrating for me to kind of fall back into being wild a little bit. I know what I can do and thats not me." "Kyles whole thing, get it into the zone and hes fine," said Gibbons. "Hes had a long layoff through the surgery. He pitched some last year but in a lot of ways, hes been out for so long it may be something that he can build back into." The 26-year-old has a history of control problems. Hes averaged 5.8 walks per nine innings over 169 1/3 big league innings. Returning from Tommy John elbow ligament replacement surgery last season, Drabek vastly improved his walk rate, issuing just six bases on balls over 43 innings. BAUTISTA IMPRESSIVE It took Jose Bautista all of three pitches to appear in midseason form. He smacked a 2-0, Roberto Hernandez fastball out of the park, literally. The drive to left field cleared the Phillies bullpen, the walkway behind the bullpen and the fence beyond the walkway. "I dont know, for whatever reason, I feel like Im seeing (the ball) better," said Bautista. "Theres nothing that I could have done different. Im not going to go to play winter ball right now. Its kind of odd because I havent played since August. But Im not complaining." CABRERA LIKELY TO HIT SECOND Its not even March, everyone is healthy, and manager John Gibbons is able to envision putting together a full lineup, something he wasnt able to do all of last season. Jose Reyes will lead off and, as the plan was at this time last year, Melky Cabrera has the inside track to bat behind him. "The only real downfall is he does hit a lot of ground balls but you look at what hes done the last few years, take away last year, and hes been one of the better hitters in baseball," said Gibbons. "We like guys there that can get a lot of hits. Hes a switch-hitter, he can manipulate the bat a little bit, he knows how to do those things. Ideally, if hes the player we expect him to be, than hed be a good guy for that spot." One thing Cabrera doesnt do often is walk, an ideal trait of a two-hole hitter and something that would get him on base more often ahead of sluggers Jose Bautista and Edwin Encarnacion. After walking 56 times in 2006, his first full year in the big leagues, Cabrera hasnt had more than 43 bases on balls in a season. A HEALTHY PERSPECTIVE Nobody wants to read about or hear about injury as an excuse for the Jays disappointing 2013 year. But a little perspective never hurt anyone, either. Last season, manager John Gibbons had these six players – Jose Reyes, Melky Cabrera, Jose Bautista, Edwin Encarnacion, Colby Rasmus and Brett Lawrie – in the lineup at the same time on only eight occasions all year. It happened over an 11-day period, starting on July 21 and ending on August 1. Sammy Baugh Womens Jersey .S. Basketball Writers Association. Happ returned to the Blue Jays in time for the clubs three-game series against the Twins. Hell be a long reliever for the foreseeable future, something with which hes not thrilled. "Its not necessarily what I prepared to do but if the phone rings and its me Im going to try and get guys out and take it from there," said Happ. "Other than that, I dont have a lot to say about the bullpen role." Happ entered spring training with a spot in the starting rotation. He pitched his way out of it, posting a 20.57 ERA in four appearances, battling inflammation in his back through most of March. After two poor outings, Happ was away from the club for two days, March 7-8, on what the Blue Jays termed "doctors orders" to remain off his feet. Happ returned and was no better in final two starts. The back issues, deemed to be a non-issue after Happs final appearance in a 22-5 loss to the Pirates on March 25, were the cause of his being placed on the disabled list the very next day. Happ made two rehab starts, one for Single-A Dunedin, the other for Triple-A Buffalo. With the Bisons, Happ struck out six hitters in 4 2/3 innings. The arrival of Happ, coupled with the optioning of catcher Erik Kratz to the Bisons, puts the Blue Jays back into an eight-man bullpen, three-man bench scenario. Another pitching decision is on the horizon with the impending return of closer Casey Janssen. Neil Wagner, Esmil Rogers, Todd Redmond and Happ are the four who could be realistically considered on the bubble. Both Rogers and Redmond are out of options. On merit, Redmonds earned the right to remain with the club. Happ has an option remaining but because he has more than five years of major league service time, he has the right to refuse assignment to the minor leagues. Rogers has given up four home runs in 8 1/3 innings of predominantly low leverage relief. However, he carries a $1.85-million ticket and is, indirectly, the asset the Blue Jays have from the John Farrell "trade" to Boston. Rogers was acquired from Cleveland for Mike Aviles, whom the Jays got from the Red Sox for Farrell, and Yan Gomes. Gomes, by the way, just signed a six-year extension with the Indians for $23-million. Or, the Blue Jays could simply option Neil Wagner back to Triple-A Buffalo, although that would fly in the face of any claim to stick with the best 25-man active roster. Manager John Gibbons trusts Wagner in hiigh leverage, late-game situations but when Janssen is back, right-handers Steve Delabar and Sergio Santos will fill that role.dddddddddddd The bullpen is, once again, a crowded place, and now includes a member who doesnt want to be there. "I see myself as a starter," said Happ. "I dont think thats any secret. I want to be a starter in the major leagues. Thats that." RASMUS PROGNOSIS GOOD Colby Rasmus wasnt in Tuesdays starting lineup, resting his left hamstring, which he tweaked in the fifth inning of Sundays win in Baltimore. "Im hoping to be in there (Wednesday,)" said Rasmus. "Come in (Wednesday) and see how it is. Got some good treatment in today and just going to go from there." The timing is unfortunate considering Rasmus recent offensive production. He hit home runs in both Saturdays and Sundays games and went 4-12 with three runs scored in the series with the Orioles. "I definitely feel much better today," said Rasmus. "I feel good about it. I dont feel like its something thats going to carry over. Just one day to get it right and hopefully (Wednesday) it will be good." REYES AND JANSSEN PLAY FOR DUNEDIN Jose Reyes and Casey Janssen made their first appearances for Single-A Dunedin on Tuesday night, the next step in their respective rehabilitation assignments. Reyes, coming back from a strained left hamstring, went hitless in four plate appearances but drew a walk, scored a run and drove in a run. He will play for Dunedin, again, on Wednesday and is expected to return to the Blue Jays on Friday, in time for a three-game weekend series in Cleveland. Janssen pitched the first inning, allowing a hit and striking out one batter. Theres no timetable set for Janssens return from an abdominal strain. Hell have at least one more appearance for Dunedin; then, maybe another. The Blue Jays are waiting to see how the injured area responds before determining how to proceed. WEATHER PROBLEMS Minnesotans are bracing for a rain-snow mix on Wednesday, which could threaten the second game of the series. Knuckleballer R.A. Dickey is scheduled to pitch for the Blue Jays. The Twins are to send right-hander Mike Pelfrey to the mound. Thursdays getaway day game is scheduled for 1:10 eastern time. This is the Jays only scheduled visit to Minnesota this season so if Wednesdays game is postponed it stands to reason the teams would play a doubleheader on Thursday. ' ' '

The Chicago Blackhawks try to open up the season with a third straight victory on Wednesday night when they resume their homestand against the Calgary Flames. The Blackhawks began the season with a road shootout win over Dallas and then kicked off a four-game residency with Saturdays 6-2 victory over the Buffalo Sabres. Patrick Kane scored the first of four third-period goals for Chicago, while Marian Hossa, Patrick Sharp and Daniel Carcillo all tallied in the final frame. Andrew Shaw and Duncan Keith netted third-period goals. Corey Crawford made 21 saves in the win for Chicago. I didnt mind, even though it was 2-2 after 40 (minutes), I liked the way we played for the first 40 (minutes), but I really liked the third period, obviously. It was nice to get that go-ahead goal, said Chicago head coach Joel Quenneville. Crawford expects to start again tonight and is 3-2-2 in his career versus the Flames with a 2.75 goals against average and .897 save percentage in seven meetings, all but one of those starts. The Flames play for a second straight night looking to build off of a 3-2 shootout win over Nashville. Joe Colborne had the lone shootout tally for the Flames on Tuesday and Karri Ramo made saves on James Neal and Olli Jokinen. Defensemen Mark Giordano and TJ Brodie both had a goal and assist to resume their hot start. Giordano has four assists and five points through four games, while Brodie has notched a pair of goals and two assists. Ramo turned away 19 shots for the Flames, who have split their first four games of the season and play the fourth contest of a six-game road trip tonight. I didnt see many pucks today, but made a couple key saves, Ramo said. Jonas Hiller will start in net tonight for Calgary looking for his first victory of the season and with the franchise. He has yielded seven goals on 71 shots in losing his first two starts of the season after signing with the club this past offseason. Hiller is 10-6-2 with a 2.30 GAA and .927 save percentage in 19 career starts against the Blackhawks. The Flames won two of three versus the Blackhawks last season, including a 3-2 overtime victory on Nov. 3, 2013 that snapped a 10-game series road losing streak. Ernests Gulbis of Latvia upset defending champion Del Potro 6-3, 6-4. . The Argentine is recovering from a wrist injury and it wasnt clear whether it may have been bothering him. He took a medical time-out after the first set, but decided to continue. However, his service appeared to suffer: in the first set, he served five aces to Gulbis six. In the second, Gulbis had six more while Del Potro had none. "Its nice to have beaten the defending champion, but actually it doesnt matter to me who won last year or 10 years ago," Gulbis said. "Im through to the semiifinals, and thats the most important.dddddddddddd" Cilic beat Murray 6-3, 6-4 in an hour and 11 minutes, making it look easy in what was his second win over the Scottish Wimbledon champion in their 11 meetings. After Murray failed to hold serve in the fifth game of the second set, he had four chances to break back in the sixth -- but failed to capitalize. Third-seeded Czech Berdych survived a difficult first set, including a tiebreak in which he had five set points. He regrouped and went on to win 6-7 (9), 6-2, 6-4 against Jerzy Janowicz of Poland. Berdych and Gulbis will meet in one semifinal. In the other, Cilic will play the winner of Fridays final match, between hometown favourite Dutchman Igor Sijseling and Philipp Kohlschreiber of Germany. ' ' '

ST. LOUIS -- Ryan Getzlaf and the Anaheim Ducks believe they sent a message to the rest of the NHL over the past week. "We feel like were an elite team," Getzlaf said. "And now were starting to show it." Getzlaf sparked an early three-goal outburst with his 16th of the season and rookie Frederik Andersen made 26 saves to lead the Ducks to a 5-2 win over the St. Louis Blues on Saturday night. Anaheim won its second in a row, after beating defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago 3-2 in a shootout Friday. The Ducks 45 points are tied for the most in the league with Chicago. St. Louis lost for the third time in four games and fell to 12-2-2 at home. Corey Perry, Andrew Cogliano, Nick Bonino and Mark Fistric also scored for the Ducks, who had not won in regulation in their previous eight trips to St. Louis. Anaheim completed a four-game run against the Western Conference elite with six points. The Ducks lost in overtime to San Jose and Los Angeles. "This stretch has been big for us," Getzlaf said. "Were playing with a lot of confidence and we believe we can fit in with the best teams in the league." Anaheim coach Bruce Boudreau agreed. "What weve proved at this stage of the year is that we can play with the big boys and compete with them," he said. "Were going to leave (here) feeling good about ourselves." Chicago, St. Louis, San Jose and Los Angeles are a combined 76-24-17. Getzlaf, who added an assist, has a point in his last 13 games. He has 10 goals and 10 assists during that span. Getzlaf missed three games in November with an injury and has a point in his teams past 11 games, the longest current run in the NHL. Andersen, who won his first six starts, improved to 8-1 with his second successive victory. He leads all rookie goalies in wins. Jaden Schwartz and Patrik Berglund scored third-period goals for St. Louis, which had won five straight home games. Anaheim scored three times in the opening 7:29 to chase Blues goalie Jaroslav Halak, who faced eight shots. Cogliano got it started by banking in a shot off the skate of Barret Jackman after just 70 seconds. Perry scored his team-high 18th on the power play at 5:36. Getzlaf capped the early blitz with a drive from the faceoff circle. "We knew they would make a big push and we had to meet it head on," Getzlaf said. "We did a good job of doing that." Andersen said the three early goals made his job a lot easier. "But you still have to force yourself to stay sharp," he said. "If we can score three goals that quick, they can, too. They fired a lot of shots, but most of the time I was able to see the puck through traffic." Halak was pulled for the third time this season. "I need to look at myself and everybody else needs to probably find the answers," Halak said. "We need to play for 60 minutes, not only for 20." Bonino converted at 17:16 of the second period to push the lead to 4-0. Andersen stopped the first 20 shots he faced and helped kill off 4-minute power plays in each of the first two periods. The Blues have struggled in the first period of late, falling behind San Jose 4-0 and Los Angeles 2-0 in the past four games. "Were obviously not getting ready to play," Berglund said. "Its hard to get back against a good team like Anaheim." NOTES: Anaheim RW Teemu Selanne was a healthy scratch after playing Friday in Chicago. The Angels have won six of their last seven games, putting them a half-game ahead of the Oakland Athletics in the division standings. You can watch the game live on TSN at 7pm et/4pm pt. Los Angeles dropped two of three at home to Boston from Aug. 8-9, but have opened this series with victories of 4-2 and 4-3. Last nights one-run victory saw Chris Iannetta snap a tie game with an RBI double in the ninth inning. Kole Calhoun, Mike Trout and Albert Pujols also drove in a run apiece for the Angels, while Joe Smith tossed a scoreless eighth inning to get the win and Huston Street left two on in the ninth while picking up his 10th save. "The bullpen has been pitching a lot and theyve really stepped up," said Angels manager Mike Scioscia. "Joe and Huston finished that game off and they really stuck it to them." David Ortiz homered, with Brock Holt and Mike Napoli adding an RBI each as the Red Sox stumbled to their third straight defeat and fourth in five games. Koji Uehara took the loss after being charged with the deciding run, yielding a two-out ground-rule double to Brennan Boesch before Iannettas go-ahead hit. "There is some positives to take away from this game," said Boston manager John Farrell. "We got some good innings from the pitchers and we were able to create some opportunities offensively." Farrell has seen some positives out of Clay Buchholz as of late and hopes the right-hander can keep trending in the right direction in tonights start. Buchholz went 0-2 and allowed 18 earned runs over 16 innings in three starts between July 23-Aug. 3, but has pitched much better over his last two outings, both no-decisions. That began versus the Angels on Aug. 9 as Buchholz logged eight innings and gave up three runs while striking out eight. The 30-year-old then followed up with seven innings of two-run ball on Aug. 15 versus Houston, fanning nine. Buchholz is just 5-7 on the year with a 5.79 earned run average and 6-3 lifetime versus the Angels with a 4.48 ERA. Garrett Richards goes for Los Angeles tonight and is 2-0 with a 1.19 ERA over his last three. The right-hander is coming off a 5-4 win at Texas on Friday, charged with two runs over 7 1/3 innings while logging seven strikeouts. "I threw a lot more curveballs than I have in the previous starts. I had a good feel for it today," said Richards, who moved to 13-4 with a 2.53 ERA on the year. The 26-year-old got a no-decision against Buchholz and the Red Sox on Aug. 9, allowing three runs -- one earned -- over 6 1/3 frames. It was Richarrds first start against Boston following four relief appearances.dddddddddddd Following the Angels and Red Sox game TSN will have live coverage of the L.A. Dodgers versus San Diego Padres game. The Los Angeles Dodgers will try to claim a series victory over the San Diego Padres on Wednesday night as the two National League West clubs continue a three-game series. The Dodgers snapped a three-game slide with last nights 8-6 victory, their eighth in 11 meetings with the Padres this season. Carl Crawford had a big night with three hits, including a two-run homer, and also scored three runs for the division leaders. Justin Turner added a pair of hits and drove in two runs. Kevin Correia got the win and was charged with four runs on eight hits and a walk. He also struck out six over his five innings, settling down after giving up a three-run homer to Jedd Gyorko in the first inning. "It was a rough start for Kevin, but he settled down and kept us in the game. I thought we swung the bats pretty well tonight, especially Carl," Los Angeles manager Don Mattingly said. Abraham Almonte had four hits and his bunt in the ninth inning brought home a run on Kenley Jansens throwing error, but Almonte was also tagged out a third base following Gyorkos single to center to end the game. Ian Kennedy gave up six runs -- five earned -- on seven hits and two walks over five frames for San Diego, which has dropped four of its last five on the heels of a five-game winning streak. "As hard as we swung the bats, it was a tough loss. Mistakes came back to hurt us tonight," Padres manager Bud Black said. Roberto Hernandez will make his third start with the Dodgers since being acquired in a trade with the Philadelphia Phillies and he has allowed three runs over 12 innings with Los Angeles. Following a solid no-decision debut with Los Angeles on Aug. 8, the right- handed Hernandez beat Atlanta 6-4 on Thursday behind six innings of one-run ball. Hernandez worked around three hits and four walks while striking out five. The 33-year-old is 7-8 with a 3.72 earned run average on the year and will make the second start of his career versus the Padres. The first came on May 12 of last year with Tampa Bay and he gave up two runs over six innings of a victory. Left-hander Eric Stults goes for the Padres and comes in on a solid three-game run, having gone 2-0 with a 1.37 ERA. Stults pitched well enough to get his third straight win on Thursday versus St. Louis, but instead got a no-decision as his club lost 4-3. Stults allowed two runs on four hits and a walk over seven innings. The 34-year-old is 5-13 on the year and has lowered his ERA from 5.22 to 4.64 during the three-start unbeaten streak. He is 1-4 lifetime versus the Dodgers with a 3.96 ERA. ' ' '
Devil May Cry V.
Half-Life: Caged работает на движке GoldSource, который использовался Valve при разработке первой части Half-Life.

Все это звучит правдоподобно, но с другой стороны, здесь нет ничего, чего не мог бы придумать гениальный выдумщик. Нам остается ждать официального подтверждения этих откровений.— Разработчики планируют выпустить игру в четвертом квартале 2019 или 2020 года, а представят ее в конце 2018;
— Появится три игровых персонажа: сельчанин (англ. redneck), бутлегер (владелец клуба), а также проститутка, которая была в эпизоде про службу в армии;
— Тереза, то есть упомянутая проститутка, должна быть намеренно противоречивой фигурой (помните Тревора из GTA V?);
— Где будет разворачиваться действие игры? «Это Vice City, но на этот раз будут смешаны Майами и Орландо. Там будет большой парк аттракционов под названием Glory Hole»;
— Rockstar посвятила много внимания совершенствованию развлечений на воде. Будут, в частности, миссии с лодками контрабандистов;
— Вся команда очень хотела создать GTA в Лондоне, но маркетинг решил, что нужно вернуться в Vice City, и шестая часть очень подходит к этому имени (GTA VIce);
— На вопрос о сюжетной линии, более основанной на выборах игрока, автор утечки написал — «никаких шансов»;
Android 7.1 Nougat.
